Cosy cottage with Lake District mountain views

Holmside is a quaint old cottage within the Wasdale Valley with an equally quaint Inn next door. The property comprises of 1 king size bedroom, 1 single bedroom, 1 bathroom with walk-in shower. On the Ground floor there’s a spacious lounge with sky tv and a cosy log burner. Adjoining is a dining room with seating for 4 and chairs for reading. The kitchen comprises of separate fridge and freezer, electric oven and hob and a washing machine. We also have an adjoining let, The Old Post Office. Car parking is located on our campsite and although Holmside cottage does not have a private garden guests are welcome to relax on the campsite along the river and children are welcome to play, fish and swim. We are within a 5 minute drive to Scafell pike, Wastwater lake, the Ravenglass and Eskdale railway and Muncaster castle. Within a short walk there is the Bridge inn serving real ales and superb home cooked food, a short walk the opposite way there are the woodlands tearooms serving fantastic meals, sandwiches, coffee and cakes. There are beautiful walks from your doorstep along the river Irt, Irton pike and Parkgate forest. Refunds due to coronavirus. A full refund will be given if we enter another national lockdown or Cumbria enters a local lockdown. We also have an adjoining property to let, which is The Old Post Office, this can accommodate 2 adult and 2 children or 3 adults.
