Our classical villa is tucked away amongst tree covered hills. Made with local brick that are in the colors of the natural elements and blend harmoniously with the local landscape. With only a ten minute walk to the beach, paradise awaits...... Your villa is a comfortable place to relax and enjoy the calming sounds of the natural bird life in the area. From the terrace you can enjoy views of the garden where bright local flowers dazzle the eyes amongst delicious tropical fruit trees. Feel at home here where the forest meets the sea….The room is in our small family resort Faasai Resort and Spa. We are around the corner from Kung Wiman Beach on state highway 3399. Your villa, accommodates two people which includes two comfortable single beds with soft sheets and fluffy pillows. There is a terrace that gives you ample room to relax and enjoy the view of the natural surroundings. Your room also includes cable television, cooling air-conditioning, a fridge and a kettle. There is also a large spa style bath attached. This space has been designed to offer you a calm environment for your holiday. The villa has a pool close by to cool off from the heat of the day. You can also feel free to make the most of the resorts spa facilities. The resort offers 5-star service from all staff that are here to make your stay as smooth as possible. We have a great restaurant where guests can enjoy home style meals cooked by our lovely in house chef/wonder woman Sura. Breakfast is all inclusive. There are various options to choose from including eggs from our own free range chickens. Breakfast will always includes toast, tea or coffee, fruit juice and fruit. During the season we will serve fruit from our own organic gardens – mangosteen, rambutan and longong (the season is usually May to July). The café restaurant uses some of the produce from our own farm such as lemongrass, galangal, green papaya for somtum and chilli peppers but most is bought from local markets. Seafood is mainly from the local fishing fleet and sometimes we have giant seawater prawns from our housekeeper's prawn farm. There are many activities that can be arranged here at your convenience. We want your time with us to be as personalized as possible. We can arrange unique tours to the local market, the gemstone market, the beach or anywhere that you're really interested in seeing. The options are endless and completely up to you. We also offer the opportunity to enjoy a Thai cooking class with Sura, who will be happy to show you local cooking customs and recipes. This can be arranged along with a market tour where you can personally choose your ingredients and meet the farmers who are selling the produce. Free parking is offered to all guests when staying at Faasai Resort and Spa On the weekend, when I am here I would be happy to personally show you around the resort and the farm and talk you through all the different types of flora and fauna. I can introduce you to our three cows that live on the farm also. The resort is only a 10 minute walk to Kung Wiman Beach where golden sands and clear waters await you. Faasai Resort staff can assist you to get to the beach in the side car of a motorbike or house van or you can ride a bicycle. You can get to the beach by walking along the road or climbing the hill behind the resort. The beach boasts a large variety of fresh seafood and local Thai restaurants. Behind Faasai Resort is the scenic mountain to the sea walking over Springwater Hill, which is worth a visit even by itself. In the forest are winding vines, giant termite mounds, wild figs and rare Siamese rosewoods. You can experience a meditation walk through the rosewoods and visit the historical shrine of the Mother of the Sea before descending the hill down to the beach ready for a cooling swim. The Chanthaburi province coast line boasts hidden beaches, scenic fishing villages and beautiful walks in the close by national park. Lovers of nature will be spoilt in this area of Thailand as there is an abundance of unique local wild life and delicious local fruit. Chanthaburi has been titled the tropical fruit centre of Thailand and with good reason. This is easily observed at the local market which our staff is happy to take you to explore at your convenience. We offer guests the opportunity to experience nature in a safe and nurturing environment. You are encouraged to utilize the pool, explore the extensive gardens with swings and boardwalks or observe and enjoy our sacred bodhi tree or simply relax within the endless nature surrounds. Our eco resort is completely family friendly and the staff is here to help as much as possible with the little ones. There are a lot of safe areas for children to explore while you relax by the pool side. As part of our commitment to the environment we have developed the nearby White Water Lake nature sanctuary, which has natural freshwater springs, wetlands and a wide variety of rare local trees including agarwood, which is used to make incense, medicines and perfumes. You can visit White Water Lake for nature walks, bird watching, swimming or boating and to learn about Asian integrated farming techniques. You can also take part in rural activities - feed the cows and fish, harvest the rice, pick fruit such as papayas, mangosteen and coconuts or forage for herbs. Our local area, with its rich soil, humidity and warm climate and abundance of water, has a wonderful diversity of flora and fauna. It was once part of the spice trade with wild cloves, cinnamon, cardamom and peppers growing in the hills and mountains, along with many beautiful timber trees. By keeping wetland areas, wild pockets of bush, replanting spice trees and local trees, preserving old fashioned varieties of vegetables and fruit trees, and encouraging the self-seeding of local trees and plants, we are helping to preserve heritage and habitat. Past guests have enjoyed borrowing bicycles or walking to the beaches and fishing villages that are in close proximity to the resort. We can also organize a driver to show you around the area if needed. There is some great options close by for fresh seafood and beer literally on the beach. Let us know and we can show you where these places are.
