Plovers Rest at Cape Douglas

Located in the quiet coastal township of Cape Douglas, Plovers Rest is a beautiful eco-friendly home which is fully equipped for a comfortable stay. With access to fantastic coastal walks, snorkelling, and surf breaks nearby, Cape Douglas is a prime location for the outdoor activities and fishing. Cape Douglas is located approximately 12km from Port MacDonnell and 35km from Mount Gambier. Longer stays can be negotiated. Plovers Rest is a fully equipped, eco-friendly home. The beach is accessible from a path across the road. Plovers Rest is situated where the coast meets rural farm land, with beautiful views of grazing pasture from the back of the home. The Douglas Point Conservation Park is nearby and offers breathtaking views of the coast. Featuring exposed limestone, small sandy beaches and dense coastal vegetation, it makes for fantastic walking.   Be sure to keep an eye out for the beach nesting Hooded Plover's, which Plover's Rest is named after. You are most welcome to call or message as I am only a short drive away. A small population of 58, Cape Douglas is where you can releax and unwind. There are beautiful coastal walks accessible from the doorstep. Additionally there is fantastic fishing out the front of Plovers Rest. Surf breaks for the experienced surfer are only a short drive away. The house is unfenced and unsuitable for pets. No pets allowed.
