Hollytrees - fabulous flat in centre of Stirling
Hollytrees is a lovely basement flat in a handsome 200 year old house in Stirling town centre. The flat is very well appointed and situated in the conservation area of the town. Stirling is an historic town with lots of attractions, including the castle and its surrounding area. It's also a great base for exploring Scotland. There is a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance and easy on street parking. This flat would be an ideal choice for couples or families. This well appointed flat has been recently upgraded - it has a lovely comfortable living room with plenty of seating and a tv. One of the sofas can be made up to a double bed. The kitchen has a 7 burner gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer and large fridge freezer. There are two large bedrooms, the first has a super king sized bed, an ensuite shower room and walk in wardrobe; the second has a king sized bed and plenty of storage space. The main bathroom has a shower over the bath. Guests can use the on-street parking immediately outside the property. The main property sits within a gated garden. Hollytrees is accessed via a wrought iron gate to the right of the main house which leads to a small private area and access stairs to the flat's main door. Hollytrees is a basement flat accessible only via external stairs. As such it may not be suitable for wheelchair users or people with limited mobility. The Host's private garden is at the rear of the property. The hosts and their family look forward to welcoming you and will be more than happy to help with any queries you may have. The main town centre attractions are all an easy stroll through the largely pedestrianised main street. Amongst many historical places to visit Stirling Castle has fantastic views over the beautiful Stirlingshire countryside and Argyll's Lodging is the finest example of a townhouse of its kind in Scotland. The Smith Art Gallery and Museum is a relaxed space with fascinating objects and paintings. Hollytrees is a short taxi ride or a 5-10 minute walk from Stirling's bus and train stations. If you are driving there is easy access to Stirling town centre from both the M9 and M80 motorways, with links to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth and the North. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park are close at hand. There is easy on street parking outside the property - this is free overnight between the hours of (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) , and also all day on a Sunday. Outwith these times the current charge is £2.90 for a 4 hour stay. This is a no smoking property.
