The space is a studio apartment with a queen bed and a good sized modern kitchen. Luxury glass and leather furnishings and crystal light fittings help to provide a quiet luxury retreat. A wall mounted flat screen TV allows for swivelling so that it can be watched from any place within the living and sleeping space. A back door leads to a small porch and from there you have access to a large enclosed community garden shared by only 8 other apartments. As it is a studio apartment you have access to the whole living space. There is a large carport (number 12) that sits right next to the apartment and is big enough to park a 4x4. You also have access to a very large community back yard with access from the back to porch to the yard. I am available to provide assistance during the stay but mainly by telephone or email. Hawthorn East is a suburb that is only 7 kilometres from the centre of Melbourne but is in the centre of the Hawthorn and Camberwell shopping precincts. Hawthorns Glenferrie Road has a wide variety of shops and restaurants and along with great shopping and restaurants. Camberwell also boasts the Camberwell market which is open 5 days a week (not Monday or Wednesday). A ten minute walk to the Bourke Road tram with another 10 minute tram ride to the Camberwell shopping zone. It is a 5 minute car ride to the Glenferrie Road shops and restaurants in Hawthorn. Directly opposite the street address is the MCC Tennis and Lawn Bowls club making this apartment perfect for visiting tournament competitors. There is no wifi available at this location but phone signal is strong enough to be used to toggle to any computer.
