Entire upper floor of house newly renovated May 2021. The bedroom has fresh paint top to bottom, a new sliding glass door, new windows, and a new ceiling fan. A comfy chair was added for reading. The guest apartment includes bedroom, private bath, kitchenette, office, and balcony. Walk 5 blocks to beautiful sandy beach and boardwalk. Walk 2 blocks to train to Manhattan and JFK. Guests also have use of 2 beach passes during peak season. Welcome to Long Beach! January 2022 Hello, friends… Why not escape the city for a few weeks? I am offering week-long and month-long discounts. Bring your laptop and work from here! Walk to the boardwalk and breathe in the brisk salt air in the evenings. I think it's pretty cozy up there, and I hope you will, too. For small families— There is no additional fee for a child 12 and under. Please book for two adults, and simply let me know in the message thread that you are bringing your kiddo along! Thank you. Guests use the main entrance to the house. I have access to that door as well, but since the pandemic began, I have only been using the side entrance to my floor when the upstairs is booked. Guests must climb a full set of stairs to reach their rooms. I reserve the right to entry at all times but will be respectful of your privacy to allow you to enjoy your visit. This space is available to non-smoking persons. There is no charge for parking. Parking is available on the street in front of my home. Please be aware that there are street cleaning rules in effect on Tuesdays and Thursdays April through December. I will be available throughout your stay to answer questions regarding directions, recommendations, or public transportation. From my house, walk to all that Long Beach, NY has to offer: Boardwalk, beach, restaurants, bars, Bikram Yoga, Gentle Brew (the hip, friendly, indie cafe and roaster), what else is there, really?! A recent Huffington Post article rated Long Beach, New York as one of the best walkable beach towns in the US. We're #5! It takes a little under an hour from Penn Station via Long Island Rail Road. It takes even less time from JFK International Airport via AirTrain + LIRR. Contact me for assistance regarding your specific travel arrangements. This is a biggie: There are fans and ocean breezes, but my house does not have air conditioning. Please be fine with that before you book. When you make a reservation to stay, you are agreeing to not smoke anywhere on the property. I very much appreciate your assistance in remaining eco-friendly while staying in my home. I ask that you do your best to conserve resources, and remember to turn lights, fans, and small appliances off when not in use.
