Relax at Xazy's Paradise!

Describe Xazy's Paradise in one word? RELAX! The property is in a secluded location about 1km above Kriopigi village, surrounded by forests and fields. The house is comfortable, and quiet, of beautiful stone and timber construction. We went looking for a retirement home in Halkidiki and immediately fell in love with Xazy's Paradise.. We are not quite ready to retire there just yet 8-( and so we share it with others through AirBnB. If you come and stay you will fall in love with it too! The house is arranged over two floors. Upstairs is the main entrance, the two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. Bedroom 1 has a double bed while Bedroom 2 has bunk beds. Both rooms have air conditioners Downstairs is a large (40m2) open-plan living area with fully equipped kitchen (microwave, toaster, kettle, etc.) together with a dining table, fireplace and (double) sofabed. There is a TV and DVD player with an eclectic collection of DVDs. A second bathroom with shower adjoins the living space. Note that the property does not have wi-fi, and mobile phone reception is variable.. Outside there is a large stone-paved terrace which looks out onto fields and forest. The terrace has a private pool, seating area, stone barbecue, and beautiful dining pergola. Outdoor furniture is provided as is basic barbecue gear. Please note that the pool is not heated. There are no roads or any other source of noise apart from the bees, the birds (and occasionally the neighbours!). In the summer the sun shines all day long, but the elevation (about 160m) makes the local environment is a little cooler and the trees and umbrellas give you protection whenever you need it. It is lovely to spend all day hanging out at the house, relaxing on the terrace and swimming in the pool, but if you feel like going to the sea, or partying at a beach bar they are only a five-minute drive away. The night sky is always clear during the summer months with great visibility of stars and even the Milky Way sometimes. . The house is about 1km above Kriopigi village. The last 500m to the house is dirt road but easily navigable in a two-wheel drive car. The village has some nice local tavernas with excellent food that are within walking distance. There are also bars and higher-end restaurants nearby for variety. We can give you recommendations of where to go. Kriopigi has almost everything you need - grocery shops, a great butchers, petrol station, ATM, etc. The property is less than 1 hour drive from Thessaloniki airport. You need a car to get around as public transport is infrequent and the property is a little outside the village. There is lots to explore on the peninsula and further afield, and we can give you recommendations.
