West Cliffe, Polperro -Fab Sea and Harbour Views!

Recently renovated to a high standard, West Cliffe is a comfortable and relaxing spot in the heart of Polperro. Ideal for walking, fishing or sampling the many wonderful restaurants and pubs in the village. Watch the fishing boats come in and out on a daily basis from the window seat. A few yards from the beach, this is the perfect spot for relaxing and unwinding. West Cliffe is fitted out to a high standard with all the home comforts to make your stay enjoyable. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave oven, fridge with freezer box, single electric oven, ceramic induction hob, dishwasher and washer dryer. The lounge area has a Smart TV and BlueRay Player as well as a sofabed if required. If you're not sampling the local establishments, there is a table for four guests. The property has been updated with top of the range, efficient electric radiators which can be adjusted to your requirements depending on the Cornish weather. The quirky bathroom is built into the cliff and has a spacious walk-in shower, sink and toilet. The bedroom is split level with plenty of light from a high-level window and skylight as well as an opening window in the dressing area which provides another view of the harbour. We have provided ample hangers for two people and a hairdryer for your convenience. This is a very old property with a restricted height from the bedroom to the kitchen. There is an electric blanket if needed and an iron and ironing board, as well as beach chairs, should you wish to use them. Walk straight out of the door onto the Coastal Path and you can be on the top of the cliffs within 2 minutes taking in the stunning views. There is a private car parking space in the main car park at the top of the village which is approximately a 10 minute walk. We live 250 miles away. However, are willing to take calls and help with any questions or requests. Our excellent Housekeeper is also available to help to the best of their ability. As I will not meet you and your party in person I will write a standard review. My Housekeeper passes on any comments/communication. Polperro has an abundance of great pubs and restaurants all within a couple of minutes walk. The Blue Peter is a few feet away and often has live music as well as offering superb food and real ales. Trams run from the car park to the village during the holiday season, alternatively, you can ask us for details of a luggage service should it be required. Buses run to Looe on but it is a limited service. West Cliffe is built into the cliff. Like all the properties, there is a tendency for some condensation and moisture to collect. We are also 15 feet from the sea. We have a dehumidifier and top-spec heating to keep the place cozy and warm but sometimes moisture will appear on the windows or bathroom floor. The ceiling height in the lounge/kitchen is just over 6ft so if you are over this height you may need to be careful. We do not provide towels now due to the new regulations but a shower/bath mat is provided. I will send a message before your arrival with lots more information about the property and the area.
