Fall in love with our family friendly, stylish and sunny houseboat near the city centre of Utrecht! As seen in various Dutch home & lifestyle magazines and now for rent! Enjoy the water, swim, fish, sup, or just relax on the deck. Perfect for families with children! Bear in mind the houseboat mostly is fully booked, so grab your chance if you'd like to spend your holidays in this very special way of living. Our stylish houseboat is bright, with lots of windows offering spectacular water views. With both a garden as well as three terraces on the waterside. Besides a living room/kitchen, there is a studio (great place to work!) which has access doors to a deck on the waterside and the garden, four bedrooms (one is also a study), a bathroom and a washing room. The view is amazing! Wake up in the morning by the sounds of geese and ducks and relax in the evening in front of the fireplace. Four bikes (adult size) available). Children bikes for rent at bikeshop at walking distance. If you decide to stay in our houseboat, you have access to all mentioned rooms. Our friendly neighbours Henk and Fré Zuidervaart (also mentioned on Airbnb!) will be your hosts during your stay. Our houseboat has got the best of both worlds: the distance to the vibrant city centre of Utrecht is only 10 minutes by bike (feel free to use our bikes!) while the park and water gives you the feeling of living in a small village. Supermarkets and groceries are close by, while the multicultural district 'Lombok' is only five minutes walking. Here you'll find dozens of tiny multicultural shops. At a short distance there are good restaurants and cafés. Are you visiting Jaarbeurs Utrecht Convention Centre? It's not more than ten minutes by foot from our home. In front of our houseboat you'll find a great running and cycling path. A rainy day? Just relax at home with Netflix! Within 20 minutes by foot (or by bus or tram) you're at Utrecht central station, from where you can reach Amsterdam centre (in 25 minutes!) as well as any other cities in Holland by train. From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Utrecht is very easy to reach by train. If you come by car: parking is free in front of the door. The best way to explore our neighborhood and city is... by boat! You can rent all kinds of boats at the city centre or sups in de the near neighborhood of the houseboat. Your stay at our houseboat will absolutely give you a feeling of having holidays!
