IN THE GROUNDS OF A PRIVATE GATED TOWN RESIDENCE A one bedroom newly built coach house style detached annexe set on 2 levels. In a quiet secure near town location with private off road parking. On the ground floor is a fully equipped kitchen and a separate shower room. The first floor is in a chalet style with a living dining room with a double sofa bed leading to the SEPARATE double bedroom. GENEROUS DISCOUNT FOR MONTHLY STAYS! Completed in 2020 The Coach House is within a few minutes walk of The Common and Saffron Walden Market Square. Situated in the grounds of Summerhill House,the detached annexe is tucked away off the main road,don’t worry we will give you directions! The garden adjacent to The Coach House may be used at certain times with the hosts approval.Private use of the hot tub is available by invitation. I live adjacent to The Coach House at Summerhill House. Should you need me I am available, however we will respect your privacy. We are minutes walk from the centre of Historic Saffron Walden. Be sure to visit the tourist information centre and pick up a free town trail map. Cambridge is close and well worth a visit you can drive and take advantage of the park and ride service( just 11 miles from Saffron Walden) or use the train from Audley End Station. Our local stately home is Audley End Mansion just a mile outside the town in its beautiful parkland setting. The centre of Saffron Walden is an easy walk over our beautiful common. The town itself has a good range of shops,inns and restaurants. For groceries we have a Waitrose, Tesco’s and Aldi’s there is also a corner shop a couple of minutes walk away. For the energetic there is an outside gym on The Common. The Lord Butler Leisure Centre with its gym pool and tennis courts is a short drive and has lots of free parking. Audley End station is 2 miles distance and offers trains to London and Cambridge there is ample parking at the station. Cambridge is 16 miles to the north the nearest park and ride is just 11 miles at Babraham. Please feel free to ask about recommendations for local dining,tourist attractions etc.Should you wish to bring your bikes these can be stored . We can recommend some terrific cycle rides and walks. Cambridge is near by and well worth a visit.
