Afton Alps neighborhood Pilgrims Roost Guest Room #2 On the Bluffs of the majestic St. Croix River-with a Million Dollar view from every window, patio and deck! Perfect for Skiers, Snowboarders, and Snow Shoers & Hikers. And in Spring and Summer Bikers, Birders and Fishermen and Fisherwomen, Boaters (we have our own dock), weekend get-aways, and retreats We are located right off the St. Croix Trail and the MRT(Minnesota RiverTrail...for Bikers) between Hastings and the Afton Alps Ski Course. Here at Pilgrim's Roost I have 2 Private Guest Rooms both w/ their own B’s. Guest Rm#1 is listed as *Retreat-Like* Quant St.Croix RiverHouse and Guest Rm#2 is listed as Bird Watchers Spot on the St. Croix They can be rented as one for fun get-togethers w/ family or friends. Or rented separately. Both share the 24/7 Coffee Bar, Decks and Patios. And in the summer the dock. At this time of covid, I am only taking one booking at a time so as not to have guests share common spaces with other guests. Guests have mentioned it feels rather retreat-like. And, I am fully vaccinated. We are a little on the remote side, so you will need your own transportation (no bus lines) Parking on premises. I'm an in-house host and live with my lovely Bailey, a 5 yr.old German Shepherd and CAT, an orange tabby. I love meeting and interacting w/guests but I am totally respectful of guests privacy needs and will tailor your experience to suit your preference. This is a rather remote area so you will need your own transportation... no bus lines and regrettably no Lyft or Uber, yet. However, Uber will bring you here from MSP.
