Charming house in the heart of the Saxon market town of Wareham. Gateway to the Purbecks and the Jurassic Coast. Wareham has a good range of independent shops with excellent pubs, restaurants and cafes, as well as the independent Rex cinema. Across the bridge is the Arne Nature Reserve, a delight for nature lovers. This glorious part of Dorset is rich in history and a joy to explore. Whether you enjoy beaches, unspoilt villages, historic castles or natural history, there's so much to see. The ensuite bedroom and private sitting room are accessed through a separate door off the hall. The sitting room has a sofa, tv, a table and 2 chairs as well as a coffee machine, kettle, microwave and fridge. You’ll find a welcome breakfast basket with all the basics you’ll need to start you off. The ensuite bedroom is light and airy with ample storage. House access is through the main front door and stairs lead up from the dining hall to the private guest area. A lockbox is available. I'm here to welcome guests and to offer any help or advice as needed Wareham is a delightful market town dating back to Saxon times and sits between two rivers. The town is vibrant with interesting, independent shops, great cafes, pubs and restaurants and delis and markets selling local produce. Wareham is described as the gateway to the Purbecks and to this beautiful and historic area of Dorset and it is the perfect base from which to explore. Wareham has a railway station with regular services between London Waterloo and Weymouth. There's a good bus service linking local towns and villages plus boat excursions. There are a number of car parks throughout the town plus on street parking.
