The Hayloft
At the base of the picturesque Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Hayloft is a contemporary conversion in the Somerset village of Rodney Stoke. Inside an old Somerset Rubble barn, is a stunning two bedroom space. 1 double and 1 twin bedroom, bathroom (bath/shower) and utility room make up the downstairs. Upstairs is a wonderful open plan living space, with kitchen, dining space and lounge area. The room boasts stunning views from a panoramic window and a cosy log-burner. Kitchen is perfect for self catering. We are also happy for you to purchase farmhouse meals upon request. All facilities will be available during a stay from a warm fire in the log burner (first basket of logs included) to film nights using the DVD player. The Hayloft is located on an old working farm. Guests can access garden areas and picnic bench. The main house is located less than 100 yards away. We will be happy to help with enquires throughout your stay. The thankful village of Rodney Stoke is a gorgeous example of a local Somerset village with excellent walking routes and a fantastic local pub less than 200 metres away! Although there is ample parking, there are alternatives available. Bus routes run on the main road at the bottom of the drive to Wells and Cheddar and the host is can provide taxi services as requested. Walking and cycling in the area is highly recommended.
