In a beautiful country setting, with lovely views and its own large garden, this attractive, detached stone holiday cottage provides spacious, characterful accommodation. Set in the heart of Somerset, it is just 3 miles from historic Glastonbury, 7 miles from the tiny cathedral city of Wells and close to Cheddar with its famous gorge and caves. Tilham Cottage consists of an entrance hall, beamed living room with multi-fuel burner in stone surround, rugs on wood-block floor and French doors to the garden. Spacious farmhouse-style kitchen/dining room with tiled floor. Shower room with toilet. First floor: Three beamed bedrooms with wooden floors; one double, one large bedroom with a super kingsize bed and a sofa bed. The super king is a zip and link so can be separated into two single beds, one single (double bed accessed from one side only). Bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet. Multi-fuel burner – fuel available locally. Electricity, oil central heating, bed linen and Wi-Fi included. Cot. High chair. TV. Microwave. Washing machine. Fridge/freezer. Baltonsborough is an attractive village approximately four miles from Glastonbury, surrounded by open countryside and bordered by the River Brue. There is a village shop and a village pub. In Glastonbury and the surrounding area you will find a larger selection of supermarkets and some wonderful country pubs. A car is advisable. There is excellent walking on the Mendip Hills and Somerset Levels (SSSI), renowned for its birdlife. Montacute House, Stourhead (both NT), and Longleat are easily reached. Riding locally. Golf 6 miles. Coast (Burnham on Sea, Minehead and Weston-Super-Mare all within a reasonable driving distance.
