Willowbank Cottage

Tucked away in the heart of Wallington, amongst established trees and sprawling lawn lies Willowbank. A stones throw from the hustle and bustle of the Bellarine Peninsula’s beaches, wineries and attractions you will find this tranquil 2 bedroom cottage. Willowbank's cottage is a self-contained 2 bedroom dwelling. French doors open onto the garden from both the main bedroom and lounge area. Although in close proximity to the main house, it is a private, relaxed and peaceful location. Our family home is located just down from the cottage. We will not disturb you, but you are welcome to come and visit us at the house if you require further information or would like tips on places to visit within the area. Wallington is a rural township near Geelong which settled in the early 1870's. It is well known for its popular annual strawberry festival, held by Wallington Primary School. Although in close driving proximity to wonderful attractions, you will most likely need a vehicle when staying in Wallington as there are no direct public transport connections available. However, you can take the train to Geelong, then take the line 56 bus to Brinsmead Lane/Bellarine Hwy or catch a taxi/uber. We are animal lovers! George the Labrador and Willow the Border Collie will greet you with a wag of their tails... Please note they are restricted by an underground fencing system which limits them from being able to access the cottage, but they will be able to come and greet you properly if you step down to the paths in between the houses. If you need fresh herbs or vegetables during your stay the kitchen garden is situated a few strides down from the back door.
