Cottage on Oxford, Rotoma

Beautiful Kiwi cottage is fully furnished and comfortable. There are books to read and games to play. Great for family time.A wood burner makes the house cosy in the winter. The kitchen has a microwave, stove, fridge and freezer etc Self check in with a lock box, making it easy and a stress free start to your holiday. Far enough away to get away from it all and not to far away to get stuck into all that the area has to offer. Great fishing on your door step too. we are on and off site on occasion to access the sleepout to the rear, which is our own private residence. Lake Rotoma is the best kept secret of all the lakes in the Rotorua District – its pristine waters offer excellent trout fishing all year round and great water sports in the summer . There is safe swimming on the main sandy beach with trees and tables for picnics. There are several water ski lanes around the lake. The nearest boat ramp is by the store, 1.5km away. The café is located 1.5km from the house and next to the local store which sells petrol, alcohol and general items. Kawerau is about 20 minutes drive with free hot pools in the town centre, Rotorua is 30 minutes and Whakatane about 40 minutes. Handy to all local attractions including shop, cafe, playground, boat ramp, artists' studios, soda springs and the magnificent safe and sandy swimming beaches of pristine Lake Rotoma. You will need access to a car to get around You will need to bring your own towels, toiletries etc. No tents please.
