Cosy tiny house at the back of our rose garden. We have a bed and breakfast at the main house where we previously run our restaurant as well. You can opt for breakfast and dinner services (served in the gite, your private terrace or in our restaurant). Two breakfast options are possible €5,50 and €11,50 pp In the wintermonths the gite is heated by a pelletstove. Our price include heating. Next to our gite we built a small sauna which can be used at a charge of €10,- (towels+2hours sauna) In the house there is a fully equipped kitchen and you'll have your own wifi connection. The entrance is through our garden gate and you'll stand directly next to the house. It's a one open space cottage with little bedroom (bed 140x200cm) kitchen-livingroom and bathroom and a terrace in front. There is a possibility to use our sauna for 2 persons which is next to the cottage. In the main house we have a restaurant and in summer we organise barbecues with our guests. We love to give our guests the feeling that they are at home and so far many people have come back because they do. However, if you feel like being on your own, you are very free to do so and we can help you find the right place to go to, whether it be a winery, maps for travelling or hiking, biking, going to the lakes, doing groceries, attraction parcs or museums On the east side of the national parc the Morvan, where the forest hills breathe the ancient past of the 'Gaulois'. Where hundreds of kilometers of hiking and vtt trails invite you to discover the beautiful scenery in all seasons. You can also explore the countryside by bicycle (we have 2 citybikes available) and there is a rental service in Autun (assisted bikes, vtt, etc...) We can advise you on our personal highlights. The nearby city of Autun, a 15min., drive, is worthwhile visiting for its gallo-Roman history. The Roman theatre, the Rolin museum, the 12th century cathedral is unique in its kind because of the signed tympanum of Giselbertus.. Within one hour you can be in Dijon, Beaune , Vezelay, the wine-area (côte d'Or, côte de Beaune, côte Chalonnaise) for some winetasting and education. We can advise! Lucenay l'Evêque can best be reached by car, but a trainstation for TGV is half an hour away. Parking is possible behind our house, next to the river. Please make sure that you type Lucenay l'eveque, 71540 in your navigator. Our streetname (route d'Autun) may lead you to another village surrounding Autun. In accordance with our guests we come to clean out the pellet stove during the colder months. The gite is suitable for a stay with a dog (5 euro per day, with a maximum of 15 euro per stay) Must be mentioned in advance.
