Lambsquay House - Apartment Two

Lambsquay House is a beautifully restored 300 year old Georgian Country House, located in the picturesque Forest of Dean, situated between popular tourist attractions, Puzzlewood and Clearwell Caves. A former hotel, it has undergone extensive renovations and is now home to Calico Interiors, a family run interiors/soft furnishing business, occupying the ground and first floor. The second floor has been converted into two self catering apartments with private entrance accessed via a staircase. Guests can use the communal gardens around the property. Linen and towels are provided. Both bedrooms have Super king beds which can be split into twins if required. I'm usually around as I work below in the showroom, if I'm out on an appointment I can be accessed by phone or there's usually a family member on hand. We are easily located on the main road to Coleford and well positioned near many of the Forest's favourite Tourist attractions. The house overlooks Puzzlewood, an ancient woodland and one mile from the charming village of Clearwell, home to the exclusive wedding venue Clearwell Castle and various local inns serving good food and drink. With acres of ancient woodlands, walking is of course one of the most popular activities within the Forest of Dean. There are plenty of options for all abilities, you may even spot a wild boar.
