Locally climbing routes from the door and mine exploration opportunities for the experienced. There are two hydro electric power schemes within 200m of house, one moving a lake 1.5 miles away, UP the mountain. Zip World Titan and Zip below,, huge zip lines..Bounce Below ( underground surreal trampoline / snakes and ladders), Go Below mines exploration, and Antur Stiniog Bike trail Centre and Llechwedd Slate caverns all 4mins away. Bus stops 5 times a day 200m. Steam train on Ffestiniog steam railway Tanygrisiau station 200m check timetable, may be 10 trains a day. 13 mile train ride to Porthmadog. Ample parking ..'office hours' cafe 100m,,,1.5 mile long lake plus trout fishing 20m away. Snow not as much of problem as in the cities. Mainline rail..NORTH...1.5m to Blaenau Ffestiniog town and transport Hub. London Euston 1 change away. SOUTH 10m down valley Ffestiniog steam train. Mainline links at Porthmadog and Minffordd 1.5 mile away is town. BlaenauFfestiniog. Mainline train station/ bus station / cashpoints/ cafes/ pubs/ art venue/ cinema carpark and shops. 2 mile away, Tourist slate mine with Down hill bike trail with 3 vehicles for uplift, 900m long Zip World Titan / underground zips and Bounce Below inside the slate mine. Ffestiniog Steam trains. Our Tanygrisiau station 200m. 1830 railway 13miles long. Links with mainline trains at both ends. Go below real slate mine exploration 200m.
