'The Lodge' lies in the heart of Cheshire offering an abundance of fabulous local attractions, beautiful scenery and more. We offer a newly refurnished, modern and spacious one bedroom cottage with its own hot tub, set in a quiet location with gated access. 'The Lodge' includes one large bedroom with a king-sized bed and full en-suite bathroom. The open-plan living space provides a lounge with dining area and fully equipped kitchen. All rooms are at ground level. The hot tub is the ideal place to unwind, relax and reset and we hope that if you choose to stay here, you'll have the perfect getaway. Offers a great location for local weddings at Abbeywood/Nunsmere Hall/Delamere Manor, anyone attending events at Oulton Park or those looking for a weekend away with a forest on the doorstep. 'The Lodge' is situated at ground level however, the hot tub sits upon a patio decking area, a couple of steps from the parking area. Access to the hot tub is currently not suitable for people who require mobility aids, this is something we are hoping to address in the future. We see this as your house and do everything we can to make you feel at home, but leave you in complete privacy. We can be available to sort any issues that arise but feel people that want this sort of accommodation probably want their own space. The location is less than a mile from Nunsmere Hall, with lots of local attractions, from Oulton Park racing circuit, (2 miles), Delamere Forest (2 miles), Cheshire Polo ground almost opposite. There are several top golf courses nearby that will accept visitors. There are local restaurants within a short distance and the superb Hollies farm shop, a short walk, that sell fantastic meals you can simply heat and serve in the kitchen. The historic city of Chester is about 25 mins drive, with great shopping and horse racing frequently throughout the year. The location is not served by any significant public transport links, its a great area for leisure walking, (access to the Sandstone Trail,) Delamere Forest is just a short way and there you'll find walks, off road cycling paths and "Go Ape" for the adventurous. Cheshire has a lovely network of quiet lanes for the touring cyclist which can be accessed in only a few minutes ride from the site. A full list of local attractions and pubs/restaurants will be emailed to guests upon confirmation of booking. There are a couple of loan bikes available for guests, (one gents, one ladies.) These are hybrid bikes for moving at a gentle pace, suitable for local trails and lanes. Bring your own helmet etc
