Summary: The property has recently been refurbished to a high standard offering a bright and spacious bedroom, open plan kitchen and living are with sofa bed, and a bathroom with shower. It is free to park in the street(s) surrounding the property. The flat is only two minutes from a large variety of shops and bars and minutes to the closest bus stops and Partick underground and train station, provide direct access to the city centre in under 10 minutes and direct trains to Edinburgh. In light of the recent developments concerning the COVID-19 outbreak, I am taking extra precautions and measures to ensure my property is being thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. I want to assure all guests I have taken these extra steps to ensure the health and safety of all travelers I host. The Space: The flat is situated on the first floor and provides a clean and comfortable space for relaxing. The bedroom is large and comfortable and the open plan kitchen and living area provides space for relaxing or enjoying a meal. There are two sofa beds in the living area that allow 3 further guests to stay. The bathroom has a bath with shower over and there is gas central heating to ensure the property is nice and warm. In addition to that there is a TV with smart features available and full internet access via WIFI broadband available within the flat for guests to use throughout their stay. Guest Access: Guests will have access to the entire property throughout their stay. All check in details will be sent in advance via our electronic guidebook link. The Neighborhood: The flat is situated in Partick, a popular west end neighbourhood. There are a variety of bars, cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk. 6 Degrees North is 2 minutes away and serves good food and has a great selection of drinks. There is a retail park 2 minutes away that has a Marks and Spencer, Sainsburys and McDonalds. Byres road is 5 minutes walk and is a great hub for all things West-end. If you fancy some of Glasgow's best food and drink you are spoiled for choice as the famous Ashton Lane is only 10 minutes walk away. Have some top class food at Ubiquitous Chip or sample street-food style ramen at Ramen Dayo then wash it all down with a Guiness at Jinty McGinty's or a craft beer at the Innis and Gun bar. There is even a cinema located within the lane so there is definitely something for everyone. Be sure to visit the closeby Kelvingrove Park and Botanical Gardens if you are blessed with good weather. Both park areas boast plenty of space for picnics, lovely walking paths and a green escape from the city's hustle and bustle. With views of the River Kelvin and Glasgow University's stunning ancient campus it is also a great spot for those looking to add a few instagram-worthy snaps to their collection too. Getting Around: It is free to park on the street directly outside the property. Partick train station and underground station are only 5 minutes walk away. You can get the train straight from Partick to Edinburgh in 1 hour without having to go into the city centre first. The underground opens up the entire city and it only takes 8 minutes to reach the city centre. The riverside museum, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Kelvingrove Park are all about 25 minutes walk away. The Hydro can be reached by taxi in 10 minutes. The airport is a 15 minute taxi journey from the property. Other Things to Note: We can arrange cots and high chairs for guests with infants. Interaction with Guests: We like to give our guests space to enjoy their time in Glasgow. However we are available should you have any questions or require any help.
