Darlington - 9 miles Barnard Castle - 10 miles Headlam Hall Hotel & Spa - 1 mile Raby Hunt Restaurant - 2 miles Local ‘must sees’ include Raby Castle, Bowes Museum, Kynren, High Force, Durham Cathedral and the beautiful sights that Teesdale has to offer. Short and long term lets considered. You will have exclusive use of the apartment and access to the the stable below for additional storage for bikes etc. I know the local area well so very happy discussing where to go and what to see including restaurant and pub recommendations. I’m always available to discuss anything in person or on the mobile. Langton is a very tranquil hamlet which dates back to medieval times. Barnard Castle and Darlington are the nearest towns with Ingleton and Gainford our neighbouring villages where you will find a pub or two, shop (Gainford only) and doctors surgery. The closest supermarkets are Morrison's in Barnard Castle (10 miles) with Sainsburys, Tesco, Aldi and Lidl in Bishop Auckland (8 miles). I would really recommend a car for accessing the local sights however buses do run from Gainford and Ingleton on a fairly regular basis. By all means you could easily cycle to Langton and your bike could be kept safe and secure during your stay. There are some great local circuits for walking, running and cycling.
