CASA VENTURI
'Casa Venturi' is situated in the historical centre of Gubbio, one of the oldest towns in Umbria. This medieval house features free WiFi and two flat screen TVs. Set on two floors, the house consists of two bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms. It also includes a washing machine. Perugia is 41 km from 'Casa Venturi' . This property has one of the top-rated locations in Gubbio. Free parking is available at approx. 3 minutes walk from the house. Being a hotel manager, I do my utmost to welcome our guests and make their stay as pleasant as possible. I also explain in detail the services we offer so that they can take full advantage of them. As I am away from Gubbio frequently, my cousin Brunella helps me to run the property. 'Casa Venturi' is situated in the neighbourhood of San Pietro, in a quiet street with no traffic. There are no public places nearby which will disturb you and the people living in the street are respectful of their neighbours. The house is furnished simply to suit everyone but has all the comforts and amenities to satisfy your needs during your stay. Parking in the historical centre is permitted only for residents, however, free parking is available at only 3 minutes walk from the house. Gubbio is one of the most ancient towns of Umbria, located on the lowest slopes of Mt. Ingino. It has many buildings and monuments which are perfectly preserved and are part of its glorious past, such as Eugubine Tables written by the ancient Umbrian people, the Roman Theatre and many more. It is an unspoilt countryside surrounded by nature. On the top of the mountain there is the Basilica of St. Ubaldo which can be reached by cable lift, car or on foot through the woods. The climate is cold and dry in the winter and quite ventilated in the summer, never stifling hot. For those wishing to travel further , Gubbio provides an ideal base from which to visit the Benedictine Abbey of St. Emiliano in Congiuntoli, the Abbey of Santa Croce in Sassovivo , the Benedictine Abbey of Sitria near Scheggia and the Benedictine Monastery in Fonte Avellana
