You’ll love our place because of the quiet ambiance, warmth and indoor/outdoor flow. The beds are comfortable and there is everything you need to make your stay easy and relaxed. We are 40mins drive to Nelson city, 15mins to Motueka and Mapua. It is good for couples, business travellers, and families (with kids). Close by we have fantastic eateries, local wineries and craft beer producers, Nelson's Great Taste Trail to explore. Bikers, we can provide reasonably priced food for you on request. Set in rural Moutere on 5 acres of land, we have a sunny climate that will make your holiday relaxing. You will awaken to birdsong in lush green surroundings. For those of you that like the outdoors visit the Nelson Lakes, Rabbit Island, Kahurangi and Abel Tasman National Parks all offering unique opportunities to explore our part of the world. If you want a day at the shops there is Nelson city, Richmond Mall, Mapua or Motueka all within easy reach. Ribbonwood has it's own drive access and parking area on our block of land. We are there to help and show you around . This region has become a large hop growing area that services the craft beer market, lifestyle blocks and small farms are all in close vicinity. Wineries and orchards bring diversity to our area, as does the beautiful surroundings of mountains, rivers, lakes and beaches- all in an easy 2 hour drive from home. Closest public transport is available in Motueka, limited options. This is a rural property of 5 acres. There is no public transport available so to explore the area it is essential to have your own transport.
