In the dunes you will find a bench seat, perfectly positioned for whale watching. Check under the seat for our binoculars so you can get a closer look. This spectacular 10 acre property is located approximately 50km west of the picturesque fishing village of Port Fairy, and just a short, 15 minute drive from Portland. There are up to 7 beautiful bedrooms to choose from. If you're a couple, looking for a romantic getaway, take your pick!! We recommend the master suit if you want to experience an incredible sunrise. Or, for a larger group, there is plenty of room for everyone! We have 1 King Room, 4 Queen rooms and 2 Single bedrooms, all immaculately finished and presented. The house is very cosy in winter - We have additional heaters in all the bedrooms and the lounge areas each have open wood fires to curl up in front of. In summer the house stays cool, especially with bedroom blinds drawn during the day. Air conditioning is also available. We provide lawn games to make the most of our manicured gardens in summer, and board games are available for quiet nights in next to the fire. Longmeadow is all yours! We do have neighbors however, and at times roaming livestock, so please be sure to always shut the gate!! At the property we also have a boundary map to ensure you don't accidentally wander onto the neighboring properties. You and your travelling companion’s will have Longmeadow all to yourselves! Should you have any questions during your stay we’re only a phone call away. We stock a basic pantry which includes: Ground Coffee Beans (for the plunger), Black and Herbal Teas, Salt, Pepper & Olive Oil. Please pop into a shop for your supplies and milk if you take it! Guests find it hard to leave once they arrive, so we recommend you do this in Portland or Warrnambool (depending on which way you're travelling).
