Located in upper Monrovia on a private residence the apartment is a back house with upper and lower levels. The open concept loft has no walls, 18 foot ceilings, hardwood floors, stainless appliances and Jacuzzi tub. Unlike anything else for rent in the area. This is in the most desirable area of Monrovia, north of foothill boulevard. 18 foot ceilings! 800 square feet loft apartment in a park like setting. View of the foothills. Stainless steel appliances, Jacuzzi tub, ceiling fans and wood floors. There is one king bed and one European style double sofa bed (not metal frame type so it is much more comfortable). Santa Anita race track and Westfield mall is mins by car, city of Hope hospital is 5 mins by car, Huntington Library and gardens are just a short 10-15 min car ride, Pasadena/old town and Rose bowl (11 miles away), or take the metro to downtown LA or Chinatown (30 minutes). Please note this is a completely smoke (including marijuana) free property. Entire loft style guest house. It has a brand new king size bed and a European style pull up sofa double bed (much more comfortable than the old metal framed style). We live in the main house so we are available if you need anything Quiet neighborhood with lots of trees and vintage homes. We often see deer when go for walks north of our house. Easy walk to movies, park, library, old town Monrovia with lots of independently owned restaurants (not the chain type!). Every Friday there is a street faire and farmers market. About 20 minute walk to the metro station. Close to City of Hope hospital it's convenient for graduate students or visiting doctors and staff. Canyon park is just north of us with lovely hiking trails and waterfall. You can usually see deer. Since parking is on the street please note posted signs as we have street sweeping certain days of the week and it's important to move your car, if necessary, to avoid a ticket.
