Small guesthouse formerly called Am Freiceadan Dubh, being the Gaelic translation for Black Watch House, situated in the centre of Tain. Within walking distance of the train station, with Tain Golf Course and Glenmorangie Distillery nearby as well as being on the scenic North Coast 500 route, it is the ideal place to start exploring the Highlands of Scotland. A warm and friendly welcome awaits everybody. Cereal, tea and coffee available You will be staying in my home so I will be around to welcome you and will be available for any questions or help required. Lovely restaurants and cafes. Small Museum, Highland Fine Cheeses, North Coast Glass, Tain Silver, Tain Pottery and small art gallery all within walking distance. Lots of lovely beaches and walks nearby. Small town with train station within walking distance. Just off the main A9 road and the North Coast 500. Public transport links available. Lovely golf course nearby. Come and play at Old Tom Morris's northern jewel - see the Tain Golf Club website.
