Self catering accommodation. Sleeps 6. Private guest fully equipped kitchen. One double bedroom with en suite shower room. One double and a twin or superking (you chose!) sharing a shower room. Rooms are situated together and are very comfy, nicely decorated with central heating and hairdryer. The 2 double rooms have a tv. There is a lovely lounge for private use with tv and access to the garden with lovely views and seating areas. We converted the barn which is well over a 100 years old more than 20 years ago and it has been a much loved family home. There is one en suite double room, a double and a twin/super king (you chose) which share a shower room, the two double rooms have a tv. There is a guest entrance and a lounge for private guest use with french windows accessing the garden. There is a private guest kitchen with 2 ring hob, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer making self catering easy. The garden has amazing views with various seating areas. BBQ provided. There is a double room with ensuite shower room, another double room and a room that can be either a twin or superb guest (you chose). The rooms are available for separate or joint booking. There is a guest entrance, private guest kitchen and a private guest lounge. Hall areas are shared with us but your privacy will be respected and the bedrooms have locks. There is a tv in the 2 double bedrooms. there is car parking for one car at the door. Additional street parking. There is public transport nearby - country bus service. There is a local pub serving food a 5 minute walk away. I work from home in a separate office so will be mostly available to help out with any questions or assistance that you require but otherwise you will have the peace of private spaces. We are on the edge of the Pentland Hills with direct access from the garden to beautiful walks, cycles or fishing. There is a golf course less than a 5 minute drive away. Other nearby a dry ski slope (10mins) and Glentress Mountain Bike Trail Centre (30 mins). There is a pub serving food and a little cafe a 5 minute walk away and a lovely Italian restaurant a 5 minute drive away. There are local taxi services and buses. Local takeaways. There is a bus service for getting into town or local taxis. The centre of Edinburgh is only about 20 minutes away. We do have three friendly dogs but we endeavour to keep them separate from guest areas.
