Our bright and airy modern 3 bedroom house is located in a quiet area but a short walk to Hartley Wintney and country walks There is wifi, Netflix, parking on the drive and visitor spaces. Hartley Wintney is a beautiful English village with a wide high street lined with independent businesses, shops and public houses. The surrounding countryside offers plenty of wooded areas for walks and there are good road and rail links via the M3 and Winchfield and Fleet station into Waterloo. This is a 3 bedroom spacious semi-detached house built-in 2016. The third floor has a master bedroom with built in wardrobes and large, light, ensuite with bath and separate shower. The second floor has 1 further double bedroom and 1 single bedroom, with a family bathroom. The ground floor has a spacious and light living room, with bi-fold doors to the enclosed South facing garden, high specification kitchen, and toilet. There is also a driveway. Our house is located in a quiet area. There is a small park for children 50 metres away. The Georgian village centre of Hartley Wintney is a short walk away. There are numerous independent businesses which are complimented by Costa, Tesco Express, Lloyds Chemist, and William Dyer shops, 2 pubs, several restaurants including British, Italian and Indian, a Chinese Takeway, Fish and Chip shop, etc... If you prefer to drive to the village there is free parking in the High Street. There are several supermarkets close by. Morrisons is two miles away, Waitrose just over three miles and there is also a Tesco in Hook, 4 miles away. In the summer months you can enjoy cricket which is played on the Village Green with one of the local pub's beer garden looking over the cricket square. There is a beautiful walk from the house or a short drive to West Green House where the gardens are worth visiting and light lunches and teas are avaialable. The gardens at West Green House also provide a glamorous venue for a boutique opera in the summer season. More conventional entertainments are provided at Hartley Wintney’s Victoria and Jubilee Halls, such as movie nights and live screenings of ballets and musicals, alongside a good selection of activities from art and business networking to yoga. There is a driveway with parking for one car. There are several visitor parking spaces also available. If you dont have a car and if you want to go to Fleet or surrounding areas apart from taxis , a community bus service provides a link to the mainline station at nearby Winchfield for trains to London Waterloo in under an hour. And with the M3 to the south and M4 to the north, major towns, such as Basingstoke and Reading, are within easy reach. There is also a bus that goes to Fleet and Reading for which the bus stop is just around the corner.
