Large modern home! Plenty of Space... I have a large modern home located in the fashionable Brisbane suburb of Paddington. There are four living rooms in the home as well as a shared formal dining room and lounge area. There is also a spacious outdoor entertainment area. Plenty of space therefore for privacy and relaxing. There is also a large modern kitchen. There are two living areas available. Each area is fully furnished and includes bedroom (Queen bed),private bathroom, private living area and study. The two areas can be booked together or separately. Price is $75 per room per night. THE HOME The property was designed by myself and was built 7 years ago. There are 3 bedrooms, all with adjacent lounge rooms, study and private bathroom. With 4 lounge rooms in total, shared formal dining room and outdoor entertainment area, there is plenty of space. All rooms are fully furnished with towels and linen provided. The property is located 4km from the CBD in a quiet cul-de-sac just 50 metres from bus stops. Also just 50 metres away are several restaurants including Mundo Churrasco, The Green Mango, and Avanti. THE AREA Paddington can be considered eclectic for many reasons. When it comes to shopping there are chic fashion boutiques, a variety of second hand stores, art galleries and antique stores. There is a thriving bar and restaurant scene with dozens of establishments stretching along the length of Caxton St, Given Terrace and Latrobe Terrace which make up the main thoroughfare through the suburb. The variety of cuisine options available is truly amazing, from Brazilian, Ethiopian, French, Indian, Italian, Japanese, Modern Australian, Nepalese, Thai, Turkish and vegetarian. All tastes are catered for. Suncorp Stadium, a venue for major sporting and musical events, has its main entrance on Caxton Street. The centre of Paddington lies on Latrobe Terrace which is just 3km from Brisbane’s CBD and is well served by public buses. We're also close to plenty of bushland and parkland, including Roma St. Parklands and Mt. Cootha. The property is located just 4km from CBD with bus stops only 50 metres from house. We are at the end of a leafy cul-de-sac, peaceful and quiet despite being so close to the city. GETTING THERE AND AWAY From the airport: A Taxi will take from 30 to 40 minutes and cost approximately $45. Airtrain departs from the airport every 30 mins and costs $16 to Roma St Station in the City. From Roma St Station: Buses are frequent (every 10mins) from platform 1 in the station take the No. 385 (10mins to the stop at the home). Alternatively the No. 375 (15mins to the stop at the home) leaves from Roma St in front of the station. For exact times refer to (Website hidden by Airbnb) In addition, transfers to or from airport/train/bus stations can be arranged subject to availability. Please message me with any questions you may have. Their own room, private bathroom, private lounge room, own study, shared kitchen, shared formal lounge, shared formal dining room, shared informal meals area, shared outdoor entertainment area (deck). Happy to give guests an orientation of the area on check if convenient. Always available for any advice for tours/attractions in the region. If guests stay for 5 nights or more, happy to provide complimentary an evening of food/wine if appropriate. Paddington is well served by public transport buses. The stops to/from The City are less than 5 mins walk from the home. Getting into The City will take from 10-20mins depending on the time of day. This is not a money making venture for me (Rick).
