Apartment 42 square meters. Car parking free between 6pm & 8am. Contemporary & stylish with beautiful original period features, this space offers the perfect place to unwind & relax at the end of each day. Luxurious Super King size bed with crisp fresh linen in a quiet bedroom with curtains, will give you the essential good night sleep that you need when your away from home. When it's time to eat there's a kitchen with all you need to cook a full meal or just reheat something that's already prepared. For unwinding in the evening, sit back on the 3 seater sofa and relax, watch the TV maybe a film or you favourite series on Netflix it's all there ready for you. If you prefer to listen to some music pair your smartphone to the soundbar and listen to your favourite tunes. If your here for work and need somewhere to set up your computer, there's a spacious table that can work well as a desk. Situated in the heart of Taunton, this attractive 1 bedroom apartment is located a short walk from all the town centre amenities. There are supermarkets are close by. Naturalife wholefoods just across the road and Granny Smiths greengrocers a bit further on are great for healthy & fresh foods, so it’s no hassle when you need to stock-up on those essentials for your stay. If you fancy going out for something to eat, there are options for all tastes within short walking distance, including The Skewer House & Bare Grills which are located either side of the front door. Some of our personal favourites include Augustus Restaurant for a special evening serving fantastic British & European food (booking is essential), The Mango Tree for vegan food from around the world and Efe's turkish restaurant for fantastic takeaway kebabs and baklava. Turning right out of the building a short stroll over the bridge spanning the Tone, leads you to the independent quarter and its array of fifty or so independent boutiques. A treat selection of artisan shops, showcasing the local talent, unique and special goods and gifts. Taunton Cricket Ground, the home of Somerset cricket is also only a short walk away. If you’re lucky enough to have tickets for a game, why not stay in this apartment and make a real occasion of your trip to the cricket? The Brewhouse - this is the local arts and entertainment centre and is just a few minutes walk away. If you’re booking tickets for a show, why not book to stay in this 1 bed apartment too, so getting to and from the venue is hassle free? If you want to stretch your legs why not walk to French Weir park, have a coffee & cake at The Weir cafe and then walk out to the willow cathedral in Longrun Meadow, if you want to go even further the Netherclay Woods is a beautiful tranquil spot. If you're driving then the Quantock Hills is a fantastic place to go walking or cycling, it's a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with breathtaking far reaching views across the vale of Taunton to the south, Exmoor National Park to the West and the Bristol Channel and South Wales to the North. There are also plenty of historic houses & gardens to visit in the area including Hestercombe house & gardens, Fyne Court, Coleridge Cottage & Montacute House to name just a few. If you're driving Taunton is easily reached from the M5 motorway at J25, there is a public car park right behind the building that the apartment is in, just a minute walk from the front door which is free of charge between 6pm & 8am & only £8.20 for an all day stay. If your traveling by train the station is only a 7 minute walk away, so is very convenient. If you prefer to travel by coach Taunton bus station is only a 7 minute walk also.
