Wendels Acre with panoramic views

Wendels Acre is a rural property , the house and grounds on an acre and a small farmlet of 4 acres currently running sheep . The studio has sea views and it's own private garden. The location is very close to the village of Mapua and township of Motueka and Abel Tasman national park. We have enhanced the plantings to encourage native birds. This is a very quiet , tranquil area. We are a retired couple looking forward to hosting you. On arrival you will receive a complimentary tray of breakfast foods for your first morning consisting of home baking , cereals, homemade bread and spreads . Infants welcome and have high chair and portacot available on request at no extra cost. Both Wendels and Susie are of farming background and when downsizing could not see themselves living in town. So ,in 2016 chose to buy the 5 acre property that was previously covered in gorse and noxious weeds. A lot of hard work and commitment clearing and replanting which has now resulted in our slice of paradise which we would like to share with you. Wendels (John) is a sheepdog triallist and is happy to provide you with a sheepdog demonstration at no extra charge. Guests have their own private car park beside the studio plus their own private garden in front of the studio. Guests are free to stroll around the homestead gardens be mindful there are steps without handrails and uneven ground. The homestead is private property but we can provide a laundry service at a charge. We are always contactable by phone or in person for any requests. The panorama sea views make our property unique and on a clear day D'Urville Island can be seen. The little but growing village of Mapua has great coffee shops, Nelson's best Fish n Chips which you can enjoy on the wharf , or dine in the local Mapua restaurants which are very popular.There are multiple delightful gift shops in the Mapua village. So many activites nearby including the Great Taste trail , bikes can be hired from Mapua. A car is essential in our area to see the wonderful sights of the Tasman area.
