The Fenns
The Fenns is a unique Victorian farmhouse - a special place to explore the Wirral peninsula, Liverpool, Chester and beyond. The Fenns is a comfortable family house with plenty of space to spread out in. The living space is an open-plan kitchen, dining room and sitting room. The kitchen is well-equipped and has a combination gas/electric range. The dining area comfortably seats 8, with additional lounge seating adjacent to an Esse multi-fuel stove...plus a portable Bose sound system for you to Bluetooth your music. This area measures 3.5 x 8m. The sitting room has comfortable chairs for 8, a 40" flat screen smart TV with satellite freeview channels and a DVD player. There are French doors to the garden. This area measures 6x3.5m. Also on the ground floor is a toilet, double bedroom, shower room with large shower and a utility area. Upstairs there are three double bedrooms (a king-sized bed, a double and two singles), a large family bathroom (separate bath and double shower) and a small well-lit library area. There are DVDs, books and games for you to enjoy. A large garden with lawn, outside seating, table and umbrella and a BBQ. Guests enjoy off-street parking for two cars. The house is set in a large garden and courtyard with outside seating and a dining area. I am happy to assist with any queries you might have and make suggestions for restaurants or activities. The Dee Estuary is stunning... big open skies and water…so great opportunities for walking, cycling and birdwatching (extensive RSPB presence at Burton Mere). You’re in the countryside in moments or it takes 5 minutes to walk to the nearest shops, off-licence, fish’n’chip shop or pub. Neston is 3 minutes by car for supermarkets, cafes and restaurants etc. Historic Chester and cosmopolitan Liverpool are the nearest cities. There are riding stables, fishing and golf courses (Royal Liverpool is 10 miles). Ness Botanic Gardens, Cheshire Oaks Outlet village and Chester Zoo are a short distance...and North Wales is on the doorstep. There are railway stations in Neston and Hooton that link to Liverpool... Or buses that will take you to Chester, Liverpool or all over the Wirral. Liverpool and Manchester airports are both about 40 minutes away. Please use the garden at your own risk. There are the usual hazards you'd expect in a garden - uneven and slippery surfaces, changes of height and plant hazards. It is unlit at night.
