We have lovingly restored this 110 year old Queenslander style home and would like to share it with those looking for an escape to the country .Set on a lush 20 acres , guest will feel secluded yet have easy access to Nimbin township and surrounds. Home Amongst The Gum Trees is a cosy, rustic style 3 bedroom home, set upon 20 lush acres. We have been told this was a workers cottage back in the day . Guests will enjoy sitting on the veranda watching the sun go down over the spring fed damn. Explore the babbling creek and beautiful trees and wildlife . Warm your soles and toast some marshmallows around the outdoor fire pit or indoor fireplace. The Newly renovated bathroom comprises of claw foot bath and shower . Although the kitchen is yet to be renovated, it is clean and tidy and has all the essentials to cook up a storm . Guest can access the entire property excluding the sheds if they wish . We will occasionally be camping ourselves on the property in order to be available for guests if required . We will be well out of sight to maintain guest privacy. Our rural property is located in a small town called Blue Knob, a short 7 min drive to Nimbin . Beautiful Lillian Rock and Blue Knob art gallery are within walking distance, where guests can enjoy breakfasts or lunch Thursday- Sunday . Many other beautiful towns within easy access - Uki, Murwillumbah, Lismore and Kyogle. Approx 1 hour drive to Byron or the Gold Coast . Car required. Sealed roads however prone to pot holes . No dishwasher or clothes washing machine .
