The studio is equipped with two single beds (90 x 200 cm). If needed, a third person (a child till 12 years old) can sleep in a single folding bed. Please let us know if a child is staying with you so that we can prepare the studio for 3 persons. You will be staying in the northeast part of the capital Ljubljana, that is just a few minutes drive from the city center. Tomačevo village lies on a terrace above the Sava River and it is described as a QUIET, GREEN and PEACEFUL PLACE to stay with good highway connections. ✶BE ACTIVE IN NATURE! SAVA - RIVER THAT CONNECTS✶ New recreational surface has been arranged on the right bank of the Sava River between the Tomačevo and the Črnuče Bridge. Among other arrangements are a new children's playground, a recreational climbing wall and a disc golf course. ✶DO YOU LIKE SHOPPING?✶ Ljubljana's largest shopping centre is BTC City Ljubljana. It is one of the largest shopping centres in Europe, promoting itself as a shopping city. Apart from an extraordinarily large number of shops, it includes a water park and relaxation centre (Atlantis), a leisure centre (Arena), a multiplex cinema (Kolosej), a large number of restaurants and much more. Nearest grocery store Mercator is 5 min away. ✶GO FOR THE LOCAL FLAVOURS!✶ Within the framework of the Taste Ljubljana project, selected restaurants offer the traditional dishes of Ljubljana, which are made from local ingredients and prepared by using modern cooking methods. It is located just a few steps from the apartment. ￫ GOSTILNA KOVAČ: The Kovač inn is a true temple of noble traditions, where you could start with an hour of literary history, see fine artwork on the walls, study the heritage of hospitality, taste selected fine foods and beverages and more. ￫ PIZZERIA SONČEK: They offer a large selection of local and foreign beers, more than 40 pizzas from a bread oven, pasta, risotto, fried dishes, salad plates, sandwiches and desserts. ☆ GOOD BUS CONNECTIONS! You can use a bus to get to Ljubljana city center. To ride a bus, you will also need an Urbana card. The card is priced at €2.00 and can store up to € (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) of credit to be spent on city bus fares. A single journey fare is €1.30. It covers an up to 90-minute journey regardless of the number of buses needed to be changed to reach the destination. The nearest bus station Tomačevo-Jezero is 450 m away from the apartment. Take the bus 19B and ride 9 stops (13 min) to Bavarski dvor. The LPP bus service network is divided into three zones. The entire city area is within the LPP Zone 1. Visitors to Ljubljana who purchase their Urbana card from a Tourist Information Centre and keep the receipt can return the card to the place of purchase when they no longer need it and claim a €2.00 refund. ☆ DON'T FEEL LIKE TAKING A BUS? TAKE A TAXI. If you don't feel like taking a bus on the way to studio frome to the city center, take a taxi. In the centre of Ljubljana, you can easily find a vacant taxi. Charges range between €0.80 and €1.50 for the starting fee and from €0.70 to €1.70 per kilometre. A taxi ride from Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport to Ljubljana costs from €20.00 to € (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Charges are lower when taxis are ordered by phone. In any case, it is advisable to inquire about the fare before the ride. ☆ LOVE CYCLING? You can always rent a bike in the city center. The BicikeLJ bicycle-sharing system gives you an opportunity to hire bikes from self-service terminals located across the wider Ljubljana city centre. The use of the BicikeLJ system is practically free of charge. You will pay a symbolic fee for compulsory online registration with the system, which stands at €1.00 for a week and €3.00 for a year and must be completed in advance of hiring. We also provide 4 bikes for our guest but can be used only if available. All guests must provide an ID for registration purposes with the local authorities. That is demand under Slovenian law and applicable to all rental properties. Tourist and promotional tax are not included in the price and it has to be paid upon arrival.
