Located directly across the road from The Officers' Mess (so perfect if you are attending a wedding or function) and 200 meters from a beach (so equally perfect for a beach-side mini break). Perfectly positioned for America's Cup viewing, particularly for Courses B and C. Amazing views from directly across the road at Fort Takapuna or a 10 minute walk away up top of North Head. Across the road of The Officers' Mess, 200 meters from Narrow Neck Beach (2 mins walk) and an 8 minute stroll from the stunning Chelthenham Beach and popular North Head. Amazing views of America's Cup racing across the road at Fort Takapuna or up top of North Head. The studio itself is light, spacious, fresh and modern with a new queen bed, new carpet (laid Nov 2020), basic kitchen facilities (toaster, kettle, Nespresso machine, crockery and cutlery), a clothes rack, separate bathroom with toilet, basin, shower and heated towel rail, WiFi and a patio. Private access through a gate down the side of the property. Easy access to beaches and cafes. Devonport Village is a 5 minute bus ride where you can catch the ferry to Auckland city or Waiheke Island. There is also a supermarket located here as well as plenty of cafes and shops. No access to main house unless otherwise negotiated (including laundry). Lots of parking on the street directly in front of the main house. Welcoming hosts who are extremely knowledgeable about the area. One works from home so accessible much of the time and if not at home then contactable via text or phone. Family-orientated neighbourhood in a beautiful part of Devonport, right near the beach. On the bus route to Takapuna (10 min bus ride) and Devonport (5 min bus ride) where you can catch the ferry to Auckland city. The bus stop is right outside the door. There’s a family cat called Winnie. She’s either moody or overly affectionate. Don’t take it personally either way.
