Hand made yurt in stunning Wye Valley setting
At Cadora Woods Glamping our beautiful hand-built yurt sits in the heart of Wye Valley AONB. The setting is incredibly peaceful with amazing views & fantastic walks on the doorstep. The yurt has a kingsize bed, duvet & bedding, towels, 2 chairs, a wood burning stove . Outside you have a table, chairs & bbq. A brand new private bathroom for 2021 as well as a indoor & outdoor kitchen with gas stove and fridge, lounge with wood burner and board games (inside a former aircraft hangar)& honesty shop There are just 5 structures on our 10 acre plot, each sleeping 2. The lounge has mains electricity and a large wood burner. The yurt is powered by solar to provide lights. We provide lockable indoor storage for bikes and full details of local walks, cycle paths, things to do and places to eat. Everything has been hand crafted using a mixture of new and upcyled materials to create a unique setting. The hut is just for you. Due to Covid 19 you will also have your own private bathroom which is new for 2021 (shower, sink and toilet). The lounge and 2 kitchens (inside and outside) are shared with 4 other structures (each sleeping 2). Within the kitchen we have extra measures in place to reduce possible contact with other guests, each hut has its own cooking utensils. If you have any questions with regards Covid 19 while staying with us, please let us know. We live onsite (on the opposite side of the road) so we are always on hand should you need anything. The yurt is located in a really beautiful part of country with loads of walks on our doorstep. If you fancy a pub lunch there are 4 within 1-1.5 hours walk. Slightly further, but still within easy reach, is the beautiful Forest of Dean which offers lots of walks and mountain bike tracks. There is also excellent rock climbing in the area and paddling on the Wye River. We are in a rural location so you will need your own transport to find us but once you arrive you could easily spend a long weekend here without needing to use your vehicle. There are lots of footpaths right on our doorstep taking you in all directions (including the famous Offa’s Dyke path which is 200m away). We provide you food essentials including oil and condiments. We also provide all the essentials for a lovely help yourself cereal breakfast. We run a small honesty shop where you can buy other items including local produce. We can also provide meals by prior arrangement. We welcome well behaved dogs (one per couple). We have various extra measures in place with reference to Covid 19, including a thorough disinfection of all surfaces in all buildings between guests stays as well as during your stay.
