Come & Chill Out at the TIKI SHACK

Come and chill out at the Tiki Shack for a truly magical experience. If you are in need of some R&R time then this is the place to be. We are situated in the middle of West Cornwall so it's really handy to get anywhere as we are only 2 miles from the A30. You can also catch a bus and enjoy taking in the Cornish scenery. If you enjoy cycling and walking, we are directly on the national cycle route. The local village of St Day is only a 7 minute walk away and includes 2 general stores & 2 pubs. *PLEASE NOTE the shower and toilet facilities are outside. These facilities are shared with 2 other huts. We will be deep cleaning them every day and following the government guidelines. The quirky, insulated shack has a 4 poster bed and all the essentials you need for glamping. A wood burner is installed for those chilly nights and a fire pit outside if you feel like star gazing. We will even start you off with some logs and you can purchase more if needed. The Tiki Shack is equipped with a 2 ring gas burner, a fridge and all the essentials you need, you just have to supply the food and drink. Towels, bedding, tea & coffee are included and we are always on hand if we have forgotten anything! We have a variety of extremely friendly pets including sheep, pygmy goats, chickens, ducks, cats & dogs that wander around freely. They are all particularly nosy and will come and visit you and say hello. With this reason, unfortunately we do not accept dogs. Private lane but it is a bit bumpy so take care! We are here as much as you need us, feel free to knock on our door. The local village of St Day is only a 10 minute walk away. This traditional Cornish village has 2 well stocked shops and are open till late, 2 pubs (one serving food), a butcher/deli, a post office and a launderette. The Tiki Shack is very central in West Cornwall, so ideal for exploring and discovering many Hiden gems. We are only 2 miles off the A30 and 4 miles to the coast. St Ives is only half hour drive away. You can cycle from coast to coast between Devoran and Portreath and each way is about 5.5 miles. There are a couple of pubs on the way too! We are directly on one of the worlds herritige sites with many historical mining trails which you can either cycle or walk around. There are many beautiful beaches all within a 30 minute drive. The nearest surfing beach is Porthtowan which is only 4 miles away. If you would prefer to catch the bus and take in the Cornish scenery then we have a bus stop right on our doorstop. The bus will take you to the City of Truro, Redruth and beyond. The shower and toilet facilities are outside and shared with two other huts. Very friendly, free ranging animals live on site. We have sheep, pygmy goats, small dogs, 2 cats, chickens & ducks.
