No pets. The Front Wing of Pen y Graig is a self contained wing of a C19th Welsh farmhouse furnished in keeping with the age and style of the property. All the rooms are large and spacious and feature original pine doors and slate fireplaces. Also available is The Back Wing a separate cottage (sleeps 4) and The Loft, a self contained barn apartment for two adults. We have been renting Pen y Graig as holiday accommodation for more than 30 years and take great pleasure in seeing many of our guests return year after year. Within a short walk to - The Lobster Pot Restaurant - Booking essential The Church Bay Inn - drinks only, no food served The Wavecrest Cafe - outside seating contact individual businesses for opening times which vary throughout the year. Church Bay is a small quiet hamlet in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The beach is sandy, with low rocks & pools to the sides of the beach and backed by cliffs. Explore further along the coast and you'll find other small inlets and coves. There are various walks right from the door, the best being the coastal path (500m away) which goes all the way 125 miles round our lovely island. Church Bay is on the west coast of the Isle of Anglesey - a 15 minutes drive from the A55 at Valley - junction 3 TRAVEL 125 miles from Manchester & Liverpool (airport) 25 miles from Bangor (train station) 12 miles from Holyhead (train station & ferry terminal to Dublin) The nearest bus - number 61 - stops in Rhydwyn (1 mile away) 4x a day except Sunday. SHOPS 3 miles to village shop, The Coffee House, Llanfaethlu 12 miles to major supermarkets, Holyhead While it's advisable to have a car (so that you can visit places further away) it's possible to explore the local area on foot, if you enjoy walking. Parking area is shared with ourselves and other guests. *Electricity costs are EXTRA and paid by meter reading at the end of the stay. There are electric heaters in all rooms. Pen y Graig is a large, old farmhouse without central heating or double glazing. If you are accustomed to central heating and do not like wearing an extra jumper, it may not be the property for you. *There is a maximum of 4 guests, including infants *Check In after 4pm - Check Out before 10am *Bed linen is included. *Towels included, 1 hand+1 bath per person - not to be taken to the beach. *Beach towel available to hire at £2pp. *Breakfast is not included. *No pets *There are double locked doors both up and downstairs between each Wing. A security/damage deposit is required if you wish to rent both wings together and request that the doors are unlocked, giving both groups access to the whole property. *PLEASE NOTE - All weekly bookings start and end on a Saturday. I cannot accept a booking with the 'add an additional night and save' Airbnb offer. *Short Breaks available during low season.
