Overlooking the fishing boats in the harbour, The Bond, a two bedroomed luxury apartment, is probably one of the most sought after locations on the Barbican. A perfect viewpoint where you can enjoy the history of the surroundings and all the Barbican has to offer. This contemporary yet warm and comfortable apartment has all the necessary amenities at hand. Tasteful decor, a nod to the building's former use, and original artwork throughout ensure guests have a stay to remember. The Bond, formerly a place where the barrels of rum and tobacco were stored awaiting taxes to be paid, sits right at the centre of the historic Barbican. The beautiful, large, newly refurbished flat, overlooks the vibrant harbour, surrounded by independent restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. Eat privately al-fresco! or inside overlooking the waterfront ... it's up to you. Rockets & Rascals cafe below will even deliver your breakfast if you ask them! There are large car parks nearby, The Barcode has secure overnight for £12 or alternatively you can park at Elphinstone Car Park for £8 per day / £25 per week. There is a lane right outside the door to the apartment - you can unload there but not park! you will get a ticket. There is parking all around the apartment , daytime mostly limited to 2 hours. However you can park overnight for £2 till early morning The RingGo parking app is worth downloading as it makes life much easier. The host will always endeavour to greet guests. There is too much to tell guests about things to see and do. From the historic Elizabethan House with an interactive tour to the Mayflower steps where the famous boat sailed. Streets lined with cafes and restaurants catered by excellent chefs. Plymouth Hoe is just a walk away, where Sir Frances Drake observed the Spanish Armada's approach in 1588. There is a small Co-op supermarket very close by (2 min walk) in Hoegate Street and a Co-op mini-market just over the road in Southside Street. There are good transport links from Plymouth should you wish to explore more of Devon. Details of how to get to the Barbican and find The Bond can be forwarded on.
