Drift Farm Triangle
Drift Triangle is a quirky space with beautiful views over fields to the sea, and located a 15 minute walk from Helford River. The Triangle is a perfectly proportioned cabin for two with a double bed, small kitchenette, wood-burning stove, and chairs on the decking. The toilet and shower are in the camp hut, located 100m from the Triangle. The woodburner keeps the Triangle warm, unfortunately no heating in the shower and toilet. The Triangle is in the field, and looks towards the sea. With effect from 1st May 2021 once you have booked the Triangle, you are welcome to include up to 5 campers with their own tents (@ £10 per head per night). You will all share the camp hut with shower and toilet. Follow triangle signs into the field. You are welcome to use the whole field, the stable, and the tennis court. December to March please park on the hard standing in the gateway. The tennis court and ping pong will be out of action during these months. Our home is the farmhouse not too far from the Triangle. I am here most of the time, and visitors are welcome to knock on the kitchen door. Just 15 minutes walk away is Potager. Delicious veggie breakfast, lunch and tea in a wonderful place. Walking distance away is Port Navas Yacht Club, a great location on The Helford, and the place to go for delicious suppers, and weekend lunches. Trengilly Watha , The Ferryboat, and The Red Lion pubs less than 15 minutes drive. Falmouth, with the Maritime Museum, loads of boats and ferries to St Mawes is 6 miles away. It’s possible to hire boats, kyack’s and paddle boards from Helford Passage. Bosvathick riding stables is just round the corner, and Trebah and Glendurgan gardens both close by. It is recommended that visitors brings their own vehicle / bike as public transport in the local area is limited. The local town, Falmouth, is 6 miles. There is a bus stop at High Cross (5 minutes walk), and a bus that will take you to Falmouth. Our track is quite bumpy! If there has been lots of rain, and the field is slippery you might be best to park at the top close to the camp hut, and walk down to the Triangle. We have a grass tennis court, which is mown and ready to go during the summer months. Please bring tennis rackets and balls if you would like to play.
