La Rose Cottage - a place to relax

Welcome to La Rose Cottage your lower Blue Mountains getaway! A beautifully decorated self contained unit awaits for you to relax and enjoy. Surrounded by English cottage gardens the unit is peaceful and cosy with a touch of luxury. You'll have access to Wi-Fi, a king bed (can be separated) Smart TV, ducted air condition, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and laundry . Located close to public transport, local shops and starting point for bushwalks and other local attractions. Your unit is new and fresh with it's own private entry with on street parking. It has wide entry and exit doors to accommodate a wheelchair/walker. A wall separates the unit from the main house ensuring you are provided with privacy. During your stay breakfast supplies are provided to give you an energised start to the day. You have the use of a fully equipped kitchen if you choose to cook other meals, however there are a number of good local restaurants that provide eat in or take away meals for you to enjoy. The local shops are within walking distance or a 5 minute drive for you to purchase food items. Kitchen cleaning items are also supplied. The lounge/dinning room contains a dining table and cosy lounge. There is a Smart TV, radio and CD player for you to use as well as books to read and games to play should you want to chill out. You have your own laundry you can utilise, which has a washing machine, dryer (Washing powder is supplied), ironing board and iron . There is also an outside line available for you to use. The kitchen contains a microwave, oven, dishwasher, full size fridge, cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, toaster, sandwich maker, tea kettle and a coffee machine ( capsules supplied) for you to utilise during your stay. The bathroom has a luxurious bath with separate shower and toilet. Bath salts and oils are supplied to help you relax and enjoy your stay. The bedroom has a king bed (can be separated into two long singles), built in wardrobes, electric blanket, reading lamps and bedside tables. Sliding doors open onto the back patio where you can sit and read or have breakfast in your your own private space. You are welcome to use the main shared patio. Night lights come on to showcase the beautiful crepe myrtle tree in the back yard. And in the day, birds come for a feed and swim in the water fountain. Ducted air condition is available to ensure you are kept cool in summer and warm in the winter months. You have your own private entry gate and foot path. One of us will aim to meet you on arrival and orientate you to this beautiful space. A key will be left for you in a secure location in the event we are not able to meet you on your arrival. We are home at different times throughout the day and are more than happy to assist you with any questions. We look forward to hosting and meeting different people and are happy for what every interaction you may want. The lower Blue Mountains has been home to us for many years as we love the peacefulness and amazing mountains. The smell of the bush awakens the senses and the bird life is plentiful when you go looking. There are plenty of bush walks that cater for the experienced and non-experienced walker. The historic Lennox Bridge (1838) is not far away, the National Park is close by and the train line is near by to take you to attractions in the upper mountains. A number of visitor information brochures are available for you in the unit and there is a big information centre close by. There are a number of restaurants and cafes in the local area for you to try and the local shopping areas have what you require in the way of food supplies, post office, news agency, doctors and dentists. Local gift , dress and shoes shops are very unique and not to forget our very quaint local cinema - a very popular place for the locals. There is a regular train service to take you up the mountains and down to Sydney. The train station is a leisurely 20 min walk away or about a 5 min drive. The closest Bus stop is about 300 metres away and taxi's are also available.
