Casa Alta is at the top of a medieval walled town in Central Le Marche between mountains and sea with its own fully sized , regularly maintained private pool and walled, mature gardens. The villa can sleep up to 10 people with 5 bedrooms, one adjoins another the other bedrooms are spacious, light and cool with private ensuite facilities. There is a terrace for outside eating and plenty of sun furniture including sun beds to soak up the glorious Italian sunshine. The house and gardens have stunning views for mountains, sea and verdant Italian countryside. There is a fully equipped kitchen , barbecue outside with table and chairs too enjoy eating all fresco but also a dining room should you choose to have dinner inside. The house is on 3 floors and being up high , hence the house name High House there are jaw dropping views which are truely spectacular especially from the balcony at the top of the house. The entire villa, pool and garden Orianna and Eugenio are your house managers during your stay. They speak Italian and English The town is Sant Angelo inn Pontano which is a medieval walled town 600 meters ASL. Perfectly preserved walled town which is inhabited and lived in by majority Italian but with other nationalities who have chosen to make the town and its surrounding area their home. The town has 3 restaurants, 2 bakers, two butchers and a vegetable stall. There is a market every three weeks and in summer and Autumn several fiestas. There are many other similar hill towns close by all with their own individuality and most have at least one excellent restaurant and pizzerias, bars and shops. Macerata is the provincial capital which is a 20 minute drive. The city holds a spectacular open air opera season festival in summer. The coast is only 40 minutes or less with long,sandy , clean beaches offering a huge choice of restaurants, activities, desinger lable shopping and more spectacular scenery and towns. The provinces airport is Ancona - 1 hours drive from the town . Tuscany is a 2 hours drive. Rome 3 hours. Venice 5 hours. Good train access. Bus access to the coast and stations. A car is ideal but not necessary as there are buses and public transport available also taxi services. The town has a good supermarket and restaurants. However with a car you can explore with limitations and there is a huge amount to see.
