At 6kms away from town–we are more than happy to welcome you in our fully independent mountain ‘retreat’. Our studio is 25 m2 with separate access and a new parking space for 2 cars. Yes, it’s small but still has a living room, mezzanine, kitchen and toilet/shower room. Very comfortable, modern, clean and highly practical – plus the views are breath-taking! Welcome home! The studio is perfect for 2 people. We are extremely well located. The home is at 870 meters (2850 feet) altitude between Annecy (35 minutes) and Geneva (40 minutes) you will enjoy an unforgettable and ever-changing scenic view over the Glieres mountains and Arve Valley. We are also ideally located for the all the major ski fields, lakes and mountain hiking spots (The Chablis, Lake Leman, Lake Annecy, Lake Bourget, Thonon/Evian les Bains, Chamonix, Megeve, La Clusaz, Morzine, Samoens...) At about 40 minutes to an hour each way - we’re right in the middle of them all - perfect for day trips out. Unfortunately our studio is not recommended for people over 50 and young children/baby. You may borrow our luges in winter - Private parking space newly created in sept 2021. English and german spoken: We have been in the area for 15 years now and we love it too. We will be pleased to share with you the many opportunities for activities and visits that Haute-Savoie has to offer. We live in '' Montizel '', a very small ‘hameau’ (tiny hamlet) about 8 minutes from the beautiful historic medieval market-town of La Roche-sur-Foron and the village of Thorens-Glières. It is a quiet place and we are attentive to the calm of our neighbours, especially on Sundays and in the evenings. You really need a car (or any other means of transport) since we live in a quiet area. The nearest shops are 8 minutes’ drive away. In the rental of the studio is included (counting on the respect of each one in its consumption ... avoid any waste please): - bed linen, towels and tea towels - water and electricity (no extra charge) No tourist tax We have a black cat "Pazu"(very friendly) whose access to the studio is totally forbidden also if he is interested to visit you do not hesitate to chase him ;-)
