The St Nicholas annex is a fully equipped, light and airy, two bedroom, four person cottage accomodation. The bathroom has both bath and shower. Note! Bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor. Not considered suitable for disabled guests. A quiet and tranquil location overlooking field, wood and hillside with a variety of wild life and flora, but just 5 minutes drive to the promenade and a short drive to Lyme regis or Sidmouth. A house equippment, safety, and local guide is provided . It is our intention to provide quality accomodation at a reasonable price. Our Guests have their own space in a quiet area, a private garden with open views over the surrounding countryside and to observe the local wildlife. Our cottage has been fitted out as a comfortable home from home. Due to little light pollution, on clear nights you can see and identify the stars and the planets from the garden. Seaton is centrally located for exploring the Jurassic South Devon/Dorset coast, the Seaton wetlands, the tramway and the 2000 year old quarry and caves at Beer. There are plenty of activities for children, a donkey sanctury, jurassic centres and beautiful gardens to visit. The old Roman city of Exeter is 40 minutes drive and is well worth a visit with it's Roman walls, tunnels, the river Exe and a magnificent Cathedral. We could go on and on, but why not come and see for yourself. Oh! I forgot to mention the beaches and.. (Website hidden by Airbnb) Your hosts, Gerry and Tess. Private patio and garden area. Ample car parking on site. NOTE. A Extra 24 hour gap between guests departures and arrivals implemented due to deep cleaning. Open for area information Our property is at the top of a hill and at the very end of a private shared drive, approximately 200 mtrs from the A3052. The views from the drive are spectacular, overlooking Seaton, the Wetlands, the Tramway and the Axe valley. Lyme Regis is approximately 15 minutes drive to the East and the Regency and timeless town of Sidmouth about 20 minutes to the West, The coastal villages of Beer and Branscome nestled nearby. The Seaton Wetlands attract many species of sea birds and other wild life. Recommended for birdwatchers and walkers, free, and open to the public every day. Seaton; being on the Jurassic coast, naturally has its own Jurassic centre, informative, well equipped and child friendly. There are a number of recommended pub/restaurants and cafe's in Seaton and the surrounding area. If theatre is your interest then the Seaton Gateway hosts a wide variety of shows and events throughout the year. The Norman Lockyer Observatory (and planetarium), near Sidmouth opens to the public on certain days throughout the year, see the NLOS website for dates. A Victorian observatory, complete with the original telescopes, where Sir Norman discovered a new element in the sun and named it Helium. Bus routes, taxis and the main line station at Axminster. However buses are time consuming, we therefore recommend you have your own transport. Please note; to help us maintain the freshness and the quality of our annex for all of our guests we would appreciate the following.
