We are in nice cul-de-sac.. Our home is in a nice residential area. We have a lovely garden which you are more than welcome to use to relax in .You can use our kitchen to make hot drinks anytime of the day.We provide a Continental breakfast. Both myself and my wife Hilary have been hosting students and business persons for over 20 years.Some of our guests have become good friends and have kept incontact. We have visit them in there own countries. We love to learn about cultures and life styles. We are close to York City centre, good bus service within walking distance. We also have a good road network to visit Yorkshire Moors/Dales and the coast.There are also places to eat near by.The Lasander Arms We would recommend, good food and lovely beer garden.There is a Vue Cinema, tenpin bowling and big supermarket (Tesco) with petrol station all within walking distance.
