Pukeko Getaway

This annex is a self contained studio unit with private access, attached to the rear of our family home. The unit has a queen bed and a bunk (1+1)to sleep 4 people. The sitting area with TV and a fully equipped kitchen completes the main living space. A walk in wardrobe / storage space is accessible from the bathroom. A second room with 2 single beds, is added for a 5th and 6th person. By prior arrangement, for groups of less than 5 guests, the 2nd room is available at an extra cost of $30. Leamington Village with plenty of food outlets and supermarket options is at walking distance one block away. Outside furniture can be used at your leisure, as is the family pool with shaded area in the summer. At the right time of the year, you’re welcome to take some feijoas, oranges or lemons from our trees to complement your meals. As Pukeko Getaway is self catering and self contained, we respect the privacy of our guests. Any questions during your stay, please ask. We allow for two cars for our guests on the property per booking. The facility only allows for 6 guests and any additional persons will not be able to stay or use the amenities. In the event that additional persons are announced on arrival, they will be referred to the local holiday park or motels. Local attractions: • Cambridge Township (15 minute walk) • The Cambridge Golf Course (5 min drive) • Lake Karapiro (at 7 Kms) • The Velodrome (about 6 Kms) • Leamington Domain with playground and train ride (10 min walk) • The Mystery Creek Events Centre (17 Kms) • Hamilton Gardens (20 Kms) Regional attractions • Mt Pirongia, Maungatautari Mountain, Sanatarium Hill have attractive walking tracks, all at about half an hour drive. • The Waitomo Caves (1 hour drive) • Rotorua. (1 hour dirive) • Tauranga (1 hour drive) • Mt Maunganui with white sand beach to the east is just over an hour away • Raglan to the west with black sand beach.
