Peaceful 2 bedroom apartment just 100 steps from the pristine New Brighton beach just North of Brunswick Heads and Byron Bay. Close to Brunswick Heads and Byron Bay, we have a lovely self contained, private modern 2 bedroom apartment. Your hosts, Robyn and Steve, are friendly, approachable and are available for a chat or can provide you with your own space and privacy. We have a cat, Zeus and a dog, Bella. Bella is the friendliest dog you are ever likely to meet. This modern apartment includes a fully furnished master bedroom, second bedroom, modern bathroom, kitchen, dining and a lounge area all fully separated from the main building. The apartment accommodates 5 comfortably. All linen and towels provided. The apartment also includes free/fast WiFi, 55" flat screen TV, gas cook-top and oven/grill, fridge and microwave for your convenience and enjoyment. We include complimentary milk, coffee/tea, assortment of cereals and arrangement of baked items. There is also a large 5.2kW reverse cycle air-conditioning and free access to movies and television shows on-demand Netflix. You are more than welcome to use the laundry downstairs which includes front loader washing machine, laundry tub and clothes line. There is also larger bins for general waste and recycling behind the laundry as well. The apartment also has a double undercover carport located on the right hand side near the steps to the entrance/deck. For the more active guests you also have access to Marshalls creek/river is via the end of Brunswick Street. Your private rear entrance (Steamers Lane off Riversea Lane) also has access to a nature reserve teaming with wildlife and 100 steps to the pristine New Brighton beach at the end of Riversea Lane. The apartment is located near one of the main local entrances to the beach with only a 2 minute drive to Ocean Shores shopping centre (including Coles and the Ocean Shores Taven) and 10 - 20 minute drive to Brunswick Head and Byron Bay. Also minutes away from major festivals including Bluesfest, Falls Festival and Splendour in the Grass. Guests have access to the 2 bedroom apartment (Sand Castle) including shared laundry and carport facilities. Please note there is also another studio apartment (Sand Dune) that is further set back and separated from the 2 bedroom apartment. This apartment is also available via AirBnB which accommodates 2 people and is fully self-contained. Your hosts, Robyn and Steven, are very approachable and can provide information about local attractions, cafes and restaurants. The reason for visiting New Brighton is to experience the relaxed atmosphere and the beach lifestyle. Either it is whale watching (and there are many whales to see), relaxing on the beach or being in close proximity to the many festivals and markets, New Brighton is a well-hidden secret. The community is very small and runs along a small strip of land between the ocean and the river. What you will find is a neighborhood that is friendly, relaxed and happy. The local public transport is the Brunswick Valley Coaches (BVC) which has a bus stop at the end of North Head Road (100m). Route 645 includes all stops that surround the local area including the Ocean Shores Shopping Centre. BVC also includes routes to Mullumbimby and Byron Bay and is a great bus service to all the festivals and markets. Visit BVC website and (EMAIL HIDDEN) Sand Castle is located within a short stroll to Yum Yum Tree Cafe, or a short paddle if using a kayak. The Ocean Shores shopping centre has all the amenities including Coles, Newsagency and Taven.
