Villa Kayu Yogyakarta located in Kasongan Village, the south part of Yogya city, the atmosphere is not only quiet and peacefull but also next to a beautiful large rice field, so the village character of this area will be completed by this amazing view. We have 2 limasan (Javanese style) houses are build out of teak wood, thats why, we called it "Villa Kayu" (Wooden Villa). In the neighbourhood sarrounding by home industries of ceramics and craft shops also local and western restaurant. We provide 2 teak wooden houses/bungalow enough for 6 person. House #1 consists 2 beds: 2 queen size including bathroom (toilet, shower hot/coldwater and sink), shampo, soap, towel,water, cabinet,2 lounge chair, coffee table, TV,AC and a nice terrace. House #2 consists 1 bed, king size, including private bathroom (toilet,shower hot/cold waterand sink) shampo, soap,towel,cabinet, chair,round table,TV,AC and a nice terrace. If the people more than 6 we will add charge 75.000 rupiah/night/bed. The restaurant can be use as a share area with other guests. A good place to take picture and feel the breeze of clean air and peacefull mind in the morning or afternoon while you enjoy hot coffee or tea. Every room is private and in the restaurant there is a nice lounge in the front with a beautiful rice field view! In this village style area there is a nice restaurant about 400m with the same beautiful view, also there is art museum in the neighborhood, handy crafts shops, home industries ceramic and 15 minutes from Villa Kayu you can visit the bar and restaurant in 'Parangtritis street and Prawirotaman area (tourist area) 15 minutes from our home stay you can find the popular area bar street and restaurants in Prawirotaman area, In 20 minutes you can visit Parang Tritis beach, Parang Kusumo beach and other beaches in Bantul. This area Kasongan is well known for handy craft and terracota pottery production, it is very interesting to visit and go around to the workshop. We provide bicycle, our guests can use the bikes to see around the city, or just see around the village for free. Check in between 13:00 to 21:00 will be host by me or my husband, up to 21:00 there is always assistance for 24 hours in our villa.
