Beautifully secluded and private chateau to rent

Château de Bois Giraud is a 9 bedroom 11 bathroom self catering chateau available to rent in its entirety. It's situated between the village of St Philbert en Mauges and the town of St Villedieu la Blouère, in heart of the Mauges region, Pays de la Loire. Excellent road links mean the cross channel ports of St Malo, Le Havre, Caen and Cherbourg are all within 4 hours drive. Nantes airport is 40 minutes away. Perfect for family celebrations, catering for all ages, or friends holidaying together. The château has 9 large bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, providing flexible accommodation. All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms apart from one, which has its own bathroom just next door. There is wi-fi internet access which has been extended via a network to cover the whole château. In addition to the fully heated pool, there is a large games room and a gym/dance studio providing plenty for guests to do. The château is fully accessible to wheel chair users on the ground and, via a lift, first floors. The pool has wide steps for easy access. We do not live at the chateau but run it from England. Isabelle lives nearby the chateau, her family live in the farms surrounding the chateau. She speaks excellent English and knows the chateau inside and out. She will be there to meet you and show you around when you arrive and will be the point of contact should you need anything during your stay. I am available via mobile and email and aim to respond to guests in a very timely manner. One of France's top tourist destinations, Puy de Fou, is about half an hour away. The beautiful town of Clisson is half an hour, and Nantes, Angers and Saumur are all good places to visit for the day, offering a mix of châteaux, abbeys, churches and wineries etc. The chateau is situated in the countryside so a car is needed to get around as there is no public transport. Please note that the price quoted on our listing is only a guide. You will need to contact us first before booking so that we can confirm the price with you. The price will vary according to the length of your stay. There are costs like the full clean at the end and linen costs which are fixed and therefore make a shorter stay more expensive than a longer one. There are also certain times of the year when it is possible to book a short break (3 nights) and there are other times when the minimum stay is 7 nights with the changeover day being on a Saturday. Therefore, we ask for guests to arrive and leave on a Saturday. However, please do get in touch with any questions regarding these matters and we will try to be as accommodating as we can.
